Legit, a comedy about a couple of dodgy market traders in Glasgow, has been given the green light for a full series. BBC Scotland has ordered six episodes from production company The Comedy Unit following the well received broadcast of the pilot episode in September.

The sitcom, written by Iain Connell and Robert Florence, has been described as "a cross between the Likely Lads and Only Fools and Horses, with a Scottish twist". Legit centres around Sammy Fox (played by Steven McNicol), a trader at Glasgow's Barras market. Although separated from his wife and children and living in a caravan owned by his womanising best friend, Danny (Jordan Young), Sammy still wants to be a good father.
