Bollywood superstar and Celebrity Big Brother 2007 winner Shilpa Shetty has been offered the chance to star in a new TV comedy about an Indian call centre.

'The Kumars at Number 42' and 'Goodness Gracious Me' star Sanjeev Bhaskar, who is co-writing the new sitcom, is reportedly desperate to create her a role. Bhaskar was spotted in Shilpa's home town of Mumbai yesterday heading for talks with her agents. He said "She would be perfect for the show. If she is keen, I will write her a part".
