Vic Reeves and Bob Mortimer are to perform a special one-off live gig together this August - and all the tickets are being given away via a competition. Despite appearing on numerous TV shows in the last 15 years, the surreal duo have not performed on stage together in that time.

The Shooting Stars hosts are currently starring in Vic & Bob's Afternoon Delights, a series of daily video sketches sponsored by Foster's lager. Watch Episodes

As part of the video sponsorship deal, the duo will also be appearing at a one-off live event this August. The hotly-anticipated show, which will be called Vic & Bob's Evening Delights, will see Vic & Bob performing live in a series of sketches based on the characters they've created for their online series. The evening will also feature an appearance from a big-name special guest whose identity is currently being kept a secret.

The one-off live show will take place on 13th August at the Highlight venue in Camden Lock, London. Foster's are giving away 125 pairs of tickets to the evening. Fans can attempt to win a pair of the tickets by playing a specially created 'Speedy Pants' game on the Foster's Facebook page

Vic Reeves says: "We haven't performed live for decades, in fact we've been half dead throughout that time and very dreary. Then along came Foster's to pull us out of our torpor and place us on stage for your assessment and evaluation. We relish the opportunity and promise not to disappoint. Any queries regarding the live show should be addressed to Dr Shakamoto at Fugitsuma Film Corp. Leeds."

Gayle Harrison from Foster's adds: "We are delighted that, on the back of Vic & Bob's Afternoon Delights series, we are able to bring the comic genius of Vic & Bob to a live audience of Foster's Funny fans and the fact that they have not appeared live on stage for 15 years makes the prospect even more exciting."

Here's a short trailer for the live show:
