Joanna Page, best known for playing Stacey in BBC Three's hit comedy Gavin & Stacey, is to host a new entertainment show for the channel.

A pilot of 10 Things You Don't Know About Your Mum is due to be recorded next month. The show pits two siblings against their parents in what producers are describing as a number of "hilarious and embarrassing rounds".

To add additional comedy, the teams will have a stand-up comedian helping them. The young team will be captained by Stand Up For The Week star Jack Whitehall, and the parents will be captained by Micky Flannagan, most recently seen on Mock the Week.

The description for the show says: "What will the teenagers be able to keep from their parents, and will any of Mum and Dad's murky past be divulged in the process?"
