Comic Relief has announced an all-star live fundraising gig.

Due to take place at Wembley's SSE Arena on Thursday 28th February 2019, Comic Relief: Spectacular will see a number of the UK's top comedians performing.

Already confirmed in the line-up are Alan Carr, Jimmy Carr, Katherine Ryan, Romesh Ranganathan, John Bishop, Lenny Henry and Rob Beckett.

The line-up is being organised by Off The Kerb, the agency that ran the Channel 4 Comedy Gala shows, which ran at the O2 between 2010 and 2016 in aid of Great Ormond Street Hospital.

Alan Carr says: "I'm beyond thrilled to be back at The SSE Arena, Wembley, doing one of my favourite things - stand-up comedy for one of my favourite charities - Comic Relief. It promises to be a memorable night and with such a cracking line up of comedians there is something for everyone's comedic taste. So, grab yourself a ticket and I'll see you on February 28th - I can't wait!"

Katherine Ryan comments: "I can't wait to take part in the first ever Comic Relief Spectacular. With a name like that, you know it's going to be an extravaganza. The SSE Arena, Wembley is such an iconic venue and I love performing in London. It's so exciting to know that I'll be joined by some of the biggest names in comedy for a life-changing night of laughs. Money raised will enable Comic Relief to help people right here in the UK and around the world. So you know what to do - grab your ticket and we'll see you in February!"

Organisers tease there are "more special guests still to be announced", for a "life changing night of comedy genius".

Comic Relief's next Red Nose Day is due to take place on Friday 15th March 2019.

Tickets are available now through a Ticketmaster pre-sale, starting at £33.30 each.
