Dave Gorman is to tour the UK and Ireland in 2018 with a new live show. It will be his first tour in four years.

Starting in Autumn 2018, Gorman will perform 43 dates with new show With Great Powerpoint Comes Great Responsibilitypoint.

His management explain: "Dave will combine his unique style of stand-up and visual storytelling at some of the biggest theatres in the country including London's prestigious Royal Festival Hall (Southbank Centre) on the 31st October.

"This will be Dave's first new live tour show in four years and follows on from Dave Gorman Gets Straight To The Point* (*The Power Point), which went on a two-time extended sell-out UK nationwide tour, including four shows at the Queen Elizabeth Hall, a date at the Hammersmith Apollo and to New York for a ten-night run off-Broadway.

"As the title suggests, he's bringing his laptop and projector screen with him so expect the 'King of Powerpoint comedy' (Guardian) to have more detailed analysis of those parts of life you've never stopped to think about before. Hey, not all heroes wear capes."

Gorman is currently presenting a fifth run of his Dave show, Dave Gorman: Modern Life Is Goodish. The series, currently airing on Tuesday nights, is one of UKTV's most successful original commissions, with peak audiences of over 1.5 million viewers.

Tickets for the first batch of dates for With Great Powerpoint Comes Great Responsibilitypoint are on sale now from outlets including Ticketmaster
