Katherine Ryan has announced a new stand-up tour.

Ryan will tour new show Glitter Room around the UK between September and November 2017.

Glitter Room will be the comedian's first UK touring show since the hugely successful Kathbum, which had two sell-out nationwide UK tours as well as runs at the Edinburgh Festival, the Melbourne International Comedy Festival and the Just For Laughs Festival in Montreal.

The tour culminated at the Hammersmith Apollo, where Ryan became the first woman to record a stand-up comedy special for international release on streaming service Netflix, Katherine Ryan In Trouble.

Glitter Room will be launched abroad before coming to the UK. Ryan will perform the show at the prestigious Carolines venue on Broadway in New York City from the 8th to the 11th of June, before a six-date run at the 2017 Just For Laughs Festival in Montreal from the 24th to the 29th of July.

Since her last tour, Ryan has become one of the most in-demand comedians on British television. She is currently a regular panellist on The Fake News Show on Channel 4 and is presenting Your Face Or Mine on Comedy Central alongside Jimmy Carr. She also recently fronted documentary series How'd You Get So Rich? and will soon be seen in Frankie Boyle's New World Order, which launches on BBC Two in June.

Tickets for the Glitter Room tour are on sale now via sites including Ticketmaster
