Josh Jones launches monthly comedy night in Manchester
A new monthly comedy night is launching at Fairfield Social Club in Manchester.
A Big Night Out, hosted by Josh Jones, will offer "an evening of loud stand-up, belly laughs and big names all under one roof".
The launch night on Friday 16th May will see Beth Moore, Louise Young, Morgan Rees and Faizan Shah appearing alongside Jones.
Club Comedy MCR say: "As a new chapter for stand-up unfolds, Manchester local comedy legend Josh Jones is launching a brand-new live show, bringing together the best comedy acts from across the UK. This loud & packed comedy showdown is guaranteed to bring a fresh wave of stand-up talent to a venue that already knows how to put on a big show.
"You might know host Josh Jones from national TV lighting up shows like 8 Out Of 10 Cats, Jonathan Ross' Comedy Club, Late Night Mash and most recently starring on Dancing On Ice. Now he's back where it all began, bringing some of the UK's best new acts for a full comedy showdown! With a bill packed with the best in British stand-up talent, big laughs and even bigger community spirit all on the stage of Manchester's best alternative events space Fairfield Social Club."
Fairfield Social Club is located on Irk Street. The venue's head of live entertainment, Sam Stroker, says: "We've been working on this night for a good while now as we were desperate to get Josh in for a regular night. We reckon Manchester is going to love this night and it can only go on to bigger and better things."
