Doctor On The Box

Eight series, 137 episodes, over 20 discs. This is the complete collection of ITV's sitcom spin-offs from the popular Doctor... series of books, also popular films from Rank: Doctor In The House, Doctor At Large, Doctor In Charge, Doctor At Sea and Doctor On The Go.

Doctor In The House follows the exploits of student doctors Upton (Barry Evans), Waring (Robin Nedwell), Stuart-Clarke (Geoffrey Davies) and Collier (George Layton), as they negotiate the ups and downs of life at St. Swithin's Hospital.

Doctor At Large follows the newly-qualified Doctor Upton (Evans) as he takes his first steps in his new career. In Doctor In Charge, Waring (Nedwell), Stuart-Clarke (Davies) and Collier (Layton) begin to climb the career ladder, while in Doctor At Sea, Waring (Nedwell) and Stuart-Clark (Davies) leave the stuffy confines of St Swithin's hospital and take to the open seas.

Finally, in Doctor On The Go, after their sojourn on the ocean waves, Duncan and Dick return to St. Swithin's, only to find their nemesis, Professor Sir Geoffrey Loftus (Ernest Clark), still in charge.
