The Great Baldini (Emperor of Illusion/Maharajah of Mystery) is a magical legend, a relict of the music halls, a performer of the old school. Known the world over, he is a hugely entertaining stage magician. But Baldini is also the shadowy leader of the sinister Illusionati: elite magicians controlling the world through the magical dark arts. In Dirty Tricks, Baldini demonstrates how the illusionati rig elections, launder money and orchestrate assassinations. A wholly (im)plausible conspiracy theory. Imagine Tommy Cooper meets Blofeld.
