Nick Coyle: Queen of Wolves
Nick Coyle plays with the tropes of the haunted theatre genre and despite a relatively low budget still manages to pull off a few decent tricks of his own. A silly hour made remarkable by this talented and captivating performer.
Blackbell House has a new governess: poor, plain, Frances Glass. But as odd things start occurring, Frances realises it's difficult to be governess when the children are dead. From Nick Coyle (Guided Meditation, Double Tribute) comes Queen of Wolves, a terrifying gothic comedy. Get ready to scream your bonnet off. 'He's really improved on my ideas' (Charlotte Brontë). Winner: Best on Stage, Sydney Music and Culture Awards (SMAC) 2011 and 2013. Winner: Brisbane Powerhouse Outstanding Comedy, Melbourne Fringe 2011.
