Award-winning character comic and critically acclaimed actress (BBC's Call the Midwife, Sky's The Greatest, Channel 4 Blaps, BBC Radio 4) Kat Bond has lost her family. They left her in a bin, outside Papa Johns in Luton. She has made a comedy show to find out who, what and where they are. Armed with only a loo roll as a prop, she combines stand-up, characters and clowning to bring her imagined family to life. A debut solo hour from one half of sublime duo That Pair. ***** (BroadwayBaby.com). 'Off-beat brilliance... beautiful skits, bonkers characters' **** (Times).

Laugh Out London's Edinburgh Fringe comedy awards 2017

It's that time again. The fringe is almost over. The pubs of Edinburgh can go back to being pubs, Lee Nelson's face can stop blocking the view of Edinburgh Castle and the Edinburgh recycling plant will be busy turning flyers into mulch. So without further a do lets give out the least prestigious awards of the year, the Laugh Out London Comedy awards (or the LOLies)...

Are two heads better than one?

The Fringe is an intense place for comics (I know, get the violin out) and taking a solo comedy show up is arguably the most stressful way to do it. The pressure is on you to write, perform, promote and accept critique and compliments humbly all by yourself.

#EdFringe17: Kat Bond in Loo Roll

Kat's lovable alter ego, Pat, was left in a bin outside a Papa John's in Luton by her family when she was a baby. Confused, and with nothing but a loo roll to her name, she wants to find out who, what and where they are. Weaving seamlessly between magnetic characters and speed-of-light improv, we see Pat bring her imagined family to life.

The Edinburgh Interviews 2017: Kat Bond

Actress and character comic Kat Bond (one half of That Pair) is embarking on a very artistically interesting project at the Edinburgh Festival this year. She has based her debut solo show around one prop: a loo roll. This combination of character comedy, stand up and clowning is set to be packed with energy and original ideas. Kat is performing at the Pleasance Courtyard throughout August.
