Flo & Joan answers 10 questions about their 2016 Edinburgh Fringe show...

Give us a quick overview of your comedy career so far. Are you happy with where you're at?

We moved to Toronto in 2014 to do improv and sketch at the Second City and Bad Dog Theatres. We've always loved musical comedy so last year decided to write some songs and try them out in Canada with the view that if it all went horrifically wrong nobody at home in the UK would have to know about it. This is us telling the UK about it now, so I guess it's going pretty well.

Tell us two truths and one lie about yourselves (but mix them up, keep us guessing!).

1. We share a mum.

Describe your new show in exactly 23 words.

Shwarma, Dalai Lama, Ringo, Gala Bingo, reikis, rattlesnakies, Brunch Qween, Queen bees, large shoes, smaller shoes, finger buffet, tooty bagpipes, Brown Long John.

Any cunning plans to get more punters in?

You know in Chitty Chitty Bang Bang when the Child Catcher disguises a cage as a sweet shop to lure in the kiddies...?

What's your plan for trying to eat - and drink - healthily during the Fringe?

Sorry, we don't understand this question. But would you like one of our sausage rolls?

What will you miss most while you're away from home?

Separate beds - we're sharing a double while we're in Edinburgh. Rosie sleep-walks, Nicola sleep-talks. It's Pick of the Fringe, pay what you can.

Aside from performing, what else are you looking forward to doing in Scotland's fine capital?

We've heard they've got great gin in Edinburgh, so we'll sniff that out. And the fudge is apparently good. There are good fudge shops. We're going to take some fudge back to Canada for our friends who like fudge.

If you took over programming a Fringe venue, what would your perfect line-up of comedians be?
