Fiona Sagar answers 10 questions about her 2016 Edinburgh Fringe show...

Give us a quick overview of your comedy career so far. Are you happy with where you're at?

I started doing improv with Monkey Toast a year after I came out of drama school in 2012 which was my first step into the world of comedy. Since then improv has always featured in my comedy having trained with The Free Association, Second City and I even flew to LA to train with The Groundlings. I also did some clowning with Doctor Brown. Last year I took 30 mins to Camden Fringe and this year it's my first full hour character comedy show.

Tell us two truths and one lie about yourself (but mix them up, keep us guessing!).

1. I have an MA in Dog Psychology.

2. My middle name is Jordan.

3. My uncle is a Scottish football legend and only British player to have ever scored in 3 World Cups.

Describe your new show in exactly 23 words.

Character comedy exploring entitlement with; self obsessed millennial, charlatan princess, sexist bro, vulgar celebrity fundraiser, incompetent MP, matriarchal granny. There's something for everyone!

Any cunning plans to get more punters in?

I used to have access to Neil and Christine Hamilton's phone number. I don't anymore so... no.

What's your plan for trying to eat - and drink - healthily during the Fringe?

Everything in moderation including moderation! I love a fry and I've got my hip flask.

What will you miss most while you're away from home?

Judge Judy. She teaches me valid life lessons daily but sadly no time for TV here.

Aside from performing, what else are you looking forward to doing in Scotland's fine capital?

My mum is from Lanarkshire and has 54 first cousins most of whom, along with my extended family, will be visiting me throughout the festival and I look forward to catching up with them.

If you took over programming a Fringe venue, what would your perfect line-up of comedians be?

Abandoman, Lazy Susan, Liars' Club, The Free Association: JACUZZI, Austentatious, Pippa Evans in everything, Sara Pascoe, Bridget Christie.

Name the one person you'd rather not bump into during the festival.

Gary Barlow. I say he's got a shit house in my show and I bet he's invested in a Laurence Llewelyn Bowen to make it look nice so he probably won't appreciate that comment.

Why should audiences pick your show over the 1,800+ other Fringe offerings listed on BCG this year?

It's character comedy that takes a sideways glance at entitlement today, which I think we're all a bit fed up of, and could do with laughing at for some light relief.

'Fiona Sagar: Entitled' is at Cabaret Voltaire at 7:15pm on 4-15, 17-28 Aug. Listing
