Lyons improvises solo to create comical, lyrical, improvised vignettes. The show has its own personal, intimate atmosphere, and audience involvement is a key element - you may be asked to share a special memory, or even be invited up on stage for a cup of tea...
Lyons is a well-established improviser, and is also performing in The Bumper Blyton Improvised Adventure at this year's Fringe. She performs on the Destination podcast (on iTunes), and is a regular participant in the 50 Hour London Improvathon and 33 Hour Liverpool Improvathon. She has also represented Team GB in the Match Mondiale d'Improvizazzione tour of Italy, where, improvising in Italian, she reached the semi-final. She also teaches improvisation at Hoopla and The Actors Centre, where she was a judge for last year's Alan Bates Bursary Award.
After development with and direction by Cariad Lloyd and Paul Foxcroft and Katy Schutte, Lyons has recently toured Only Child in the US, performing at the Women in Comedy Festival in Boston and The Improvised Plays Festival in Austin, Texas, and in the UK, performing at festivals in London, Bristol and Cambridge.
