Kathryn Bond and Lorna Shaw are otherwise known as That Pair. They put on their 'serious faces' to answer our questions...

1. Tell us about your career so far. Are you happy with where you're at?

This is a hard hitting interview. We are doing our serious faces.

Our show answers that question. It's about two princess entertainers on the verge of a breakdown.

In all seriousness, we have been very lucky with the experiences we have had but we are hungry/peckish for more performing and writing experiences. We hope people enjoy this show and want to watch it, watch us and work with it.

2. Describe your show in exactly 23 words.

An hour of princess partying with a twist. Expect madness, glitter, truth , peas, ubers, songs, characters, stickers, ham... we're just saying words now.

3. Why are you putting yourself through this famously stressful experience?

Addicted to laughs. Performing to new people everyday is brilliant. We are optimists.

4. Any cunning plans to get more punters in?

We are foxes and flyer like crazy . Also fingers crossed people will recommend the show to others and spread the word.

5. How much money do you think you'll lose/make this year?

Hopefully 0. Possibly lots. We've not got much so nowt to lose.

6. What's your weirdest past Fringe experience?

Kat: Smashing my own nose in, during a dance routine at end of our show. Lots of blood and darkness.

Lorna: First year we did the Fringe we performed in what used to be strip club. There were booths and everything. Lots of audience members had they're back to us. Odd.

7. What other shows are you hoping to see?

Pat Cahill
Alison Thea Skott
Josiah Norris
Twisted Loaf ( we are doing a kids show with them called YUCK! At 12.10 too)
What Would Spock Do?
And loads of other people we have offended by not mentioning.

8. If you took over programming a venue, what would you perfect line-up of comedians be?

Laurel & Hardy
Alec Baldwin
Amy Schumer
Tig Notaro
Flight of the Conchords
Peter Cook and Dudley Moore
Michael Jackson

It will be a long old night. Everyone gets a tight 5.

9. Name the one person you'd rather not bump into during the festival.

We hope we don't bump into any mythical creatures unless they are involved in a student production and on the Royal Mile.

10. Why should audiences pick your show over the 1,700+ other comedy offerings at this year's festival?

Oh God, just come see it. It will be worth it. It's an hour of joyful foolishness from two idiots.

'That Pair: Letting It Go' is at 4:35pm at Just The Tonic at the Caves on 6-17, 19-29 August. Listing
