After a lifetime studying hustlers, conmen and other thieves, 'the world's number one pickpocket' (Time Out) is still an honest man. This funny and fast-fingered show exposes how the bad guys really think. Fresh from TV's Police 5, The Man of Steal is James's first Fringe show. An expert in stealth crime, James is the only person to have stolen from the Mayor of London, the Chancellor of the Exchequer and the Governor of the Bank of England. If you're lucky, you could be next ... but don't worry, he gives it all back!

This show was incredible, James is a master pickpocket and he takes you through an hour of tips, tricks and how not to be the victim.

Unfortunately for me I unknowingly became one of his victims I won't tell you,how but suffice to say my jaw hit the floor when he revealed everything to me and more embarrassingly the audience which was quite a large number needless to say I was very shocked at what he done but I will not spoil it for you.

This show will have you laughing, gasping and wondering about the safety of the stuff you carry around in your pockets simple things like keeping your car key on the same keyring as your house keys can suddenly turn into your car being taken and your house robbed.

This is a show you, have to see to believe.

A massive 5 Stars for this show.

This show is fascinating, highly entertaining, beautifully produced and utterly unique. Indeed, it may well start a whole new genre. James Freedman talks with eloquence and passion about themes that have fascinated him all his life: fraud and fairness, crime and justice, the art of the pickpocket and other fraudsters, and the choices we all make to either be victims of crime or to protect ourselves from the perpetrators. However, there is much more on offer than just talk. Freedman includes a range of utterly fascinating live demonstrations that will thrill, delight, cheer and astound you, leading to the greatest and most jaw-dropping climax you will ever see in a theatre. It is simply unbelievable, and I will do you a big favour by NOT attempting to describe what happens. This entire show is a triumph. Freedman is likeable, charming and approachable, and the show is fun, easy to enjoy and amazing. Go see it, have a great time and tell your friends. It's part of the Free Fringe, so you don't even have to pay to get in, but even if the tickets were £30 each they would be worth it.
