Award-winning newcomer Hayley Ellis had a pretty crap year in 2012 but got through it with help from Woman's best friend, her dog Kevin. This year Hayley is back in Edinburgh bringing Kevin and her first solo show to the festival. Fresh from supporting Roisin Conaty on tour, the Manchester comedian and regular contributor to XFM's breakfast show lets you in on her loves, losses, and life-lessons learnt from a little Lhasa Apso dog.
A regular MC around the UK, Hayley's warmth and girl-next-door charm make her hard to dislike, something which has become evident in her success in new act competitions throughout the UK. Join this loser at life and winner at losing, as she presents her debut hour of candid and engaging stand-up. And then there's Kevin. We really need to talk about him.
