After enjoying a successful run at this year's Adelaide Fringe, actress and character comedian Claire Ford brings her debut one-woman show, ConsciousMess, to the Edinburgh Fringe Festival.

So what's the show about? Claire explains, "It's about how full our brains are nowadays, you know, useless facts, tangled thoughts, half-remembered conversations... and about how our minds try to make sense of it all." In this dynamic comedy show, Claire brings her own ConsciousMess to life on stage, through a mix of character comedy, clowning and hilarious audience interaction.

So, come along, join in & meet the strange characters, memories and voices all jostling for position inside her head.

About Claire

Claire Ford is an accomplished actress with a flair for comedy. She was recently chosen to feature in the BBC pilot Fat Pipes, their first fully interactive live TV show. She is also one half of successful comedy duo Wilkinson Ford, who enjoyed successful runs at the Edinburgh Festival in both 2011 and 2013, and will be appearing in this year's fringe as their silent comedy alter egos, The Kagools in Kagoolio.

In 2010 she was awarded the commission for the comedy self-shot video series The Awards Diaries, the official behind the scenes look at the Foster's Edinburgh Comedy Awards. With a passion for both comedy and improvisation, she has studied with Philippe Gaulier in Paris and completed UK comedy tours for MOMO theatre. She is also the Director of Cherry Tree Pictures and a graduate of Mountview Academy of Theatre Arts.
