Venue details
Comedian Katie Mulgrew never wanted to be a comedian. Yep. What she's done there is essentially start by saying I don't even want to be at the Fringe! She does. Honest. She just never thought she would. Katie wanted to be many things growing up. Jet from Gladiators, Michelle Pfeiffer, but not a comedian. This is because her Dad is a comedian and they are some awfully big clown shoes to fill. One of the UK circuit's 'bright young things' (BroadwayBaby.com), Katie's first solo show will be dead good. It has powerpoint and everything.

One of the UK's circuit's "bright young things" (Broadway Baby), Katie Mulgrew's takes to the stage for her debut Edinburgh solo show. This is an autobiographical tale of teen angst, seaside Piers and schoolyard jibes.
Comedian; Katie Mulgrew never wanted to be a stand-up comedian. Yep, isn't that an opening gambit? Katie wanted to be many things growing up. A hairdresser, jet from gladiators, Michelle Pfeiffer, but not a comedian. This is because her dad is a comedian and they are some awfully big clown shoes to fill......
Lancashire comedian, Katie Mulgrew is a much sought after MC on the circuit with a warm and playful rapport that wins over any audience with ease. A natural storyteller, Katie has been a regular support act for the multi-award winning and critically acclaimed, The Boy With Tape On His Face during his numerous national UK theatre tours. Katie has also been a tour support for both Puppetry Of The Penis and award winning musical comedian, Vikki Stone.
Katie has made two rather notable television appearances. Both when she was a toddler and had minimal grasp of words let alone punch lines and timing. However, she had great hair. Witty, adorable and with just a hint of a wicked gleam in her eye, Katie's oddball anecdotal humour is a joy to behold.
