Fresh from supporting Milton Jones and Russell Kane, Chris Martin (Dave's One Night Stand) brings his new show to Edinburgh. Ever had someone tell you how to relax? Ever been mocked for not enjoying a bath? Ever had a turf war with a pug (stupidest looking animal on the planet)? Chris uses his uniquely twisted logic to tackle these 'earth shattering' problems. There's no politics; just a lot of sharp observations and silly arguments he wants you to hear. 'One of the UK's most promising young observationalists' (Guardian). 'Destined for Greatness' (Sunday Times).

Fresh from supporting Milton Jones and Russell Kane, Chris Martin (Dave's One Night Stand) and no, not that one, today announces he will return to the Edinburgh Fringe Festival this August with his brand new show, Passionate about the Pointless.
Chris is a keen observer and loves to investigate the mundane elements that inform our everyday lives. He excels at turning conventional observational comedy on its head choosing instead to probe deeper to deconstruct preconceptions that are (often without us realising) innate within us.
Zoning in on minutiae, Chris uses his uniquely twisted logic as he tackles these 'earth shattering' problems. There's no politics; just a compendium of sharp observations and high energy complaining that he wants you to hear.
Ever had someone tell you how best to relax? Ever been mocked for not enjoying a bath? Ever had a turf war with a pug? Or worse, used a dog as a plate? Ever wondered what the difference between communal fruit & solo fruit is? Plus an insightful guide on how to judge people based on their methods of cereal storing.
