Full press release

Let's Dance For Comic Relief 2011 winner Charlie Baker is bringing his hotly anticipated follow up to his Mervyn Stutter Spirit of the Fringe award winning show to the Edinburgh Fringe Festival this summer. Charlie will be playing to audiences daily from 1st - 26th August (excluding Monday 13th) at the Pleasance Below at 7:15pm.

Charlie's stand-up has seen him tour the country this year to sold out audiences and has received rave reviews.

His instant likeability and charming delivery style has made him a popular face on TV panels shows having appeared as team captain on A Short History Of Everything Else (Channel 4), two series of Never Mind The Buzzcocks (BBC Two), The Rob Brydon Show's Christmas special (BBC Two) and The Comedy Store (Comedy Central).

Charlie Baker is a versatile talent, not only a much in demand stand-up comedian, but also a accomplished and highly acclaimed jazz-singer and actor which has seen him star in The IT Crowd (Channel 4), Doctor Who (BBC One), and Miranda (BBC Two). He has given the definition of entertainer a modern twist and there is no one else quite like him on the circuit.

Freshly Baked is his most personal show to date. The story of an unpopular but confident showbiz boy who finds salvation in love, comedy and baked goods.
