Songs of Love and Death is Anthony King's first full Edinburgh show. Thrown out of the Catholic Church for confessing in too much detail, he now brings his dark, dry songs and stand-up to the stage. Some songs are silly and some are disturbing and 'wrong'. When they come, his one-liners are sparse, efficient, unexpected and there are some surreal moments too. 'Outstanding' (Scotsman). 'The gags get better and better. His attitude is take it or leave it - the right attitude for getting laughs.' (Guardian).
This is a 2012 show that has now finished.
