Atop what is surely the most exciting new venue at this year's festival, playwright James Graham's (The Whisky Taster, Tory Boyz and The Man) latest piece challenges Edinburgh itself to provide the set, sound, lighting and weather as we scramble aboard a vintage open-top tour bus. In association with Lothian Buses, our tour guide will battle the traffic, and some personal demons, in a drama that will quite literally transport you to places like no other theatrical experience this year. Keep you hands inside the vehicle at all times - this could be a bumpy ride. Tickets for the top deck of the Bus are £14.50. Tickets for the bottom deck of the Bus are £9.50.

User reviews

A brilliant production enjoyed by all our party. Even Edinburgians saw sites and heard about things we didn't know. The tour guide's performance was completely believable. Fortunately for us, we knew it was a performance. An American couple were so completely taken in and clearly thought the bus tour was real. They were not too impressed by Kenny's unconvential commentary.

For anyone thinking about going - do it!

P.S. Wear warm waterproof clothing.
