Run, deaf boy, Run! At the age of 47 severely/profoundly deaf comedian Steve Day, of Radio 4, decided to run the London Marathon. In this funny and heart-warming show Steve tells of his struggle to complete the course, and his battles against obstacles far greater than the distance to be run. The more he is absorbed into completing the race the more it becomes a metaphor for his struggles in life, all the trials, triumphs and failures, and the loneliness of the long-distance deaf comedian. Run for a ticket. ***** (Chortle.co.uk). **** (Scotsman). ****(ThreeWeeks).
