Oliver lets the audience see the world through the eyes of people with bizarre brains. Experience what it's like to 'hear' colours, have memories disappear and lose control of their fingers. Think Being John Malkovich meets Memento and you're half way there.

After operating on the Brighton Fringe and London's Hot August Fringe, it's time for Edinburgh to go under the knife.

Oliver Meech, aka 'The Creative Conjuror', studied Psychology at Oxford University, Creativity at some of London's top ad agencies and Trickery at The Magic Circle. He fuses all three to produce a unique form of entertainment. In 2010, he unleashed two shows on the Edinburgh Fringe: Mages Thru The Ages - a whistlestop tour of magic past, present and future; and Time Warper - a time-travelling magic show.

Oliver Meech Biography

Oliver Meech is a 30 year Oxford University Experimental Psychology Graduate who has also studied Creativity at top London advertising agencies and Trickery at The Magic Circle.

A professional magician, performer and author of critically and commercially acclaimed magic books; The Plot Thickens and Plot Twists, he also lectures to magic societies and is a member of The Magic Circle.

In 2009, Oliver was part of a 3-magician show Demon-A-Tricks performed as part of the Hot August Fringe and was asked back for the HAF Highlights shows in January 2010.

At last year's Edinburgh Fringe, Oliver performed two shows for a week, both as part of the Laughing Horse Free Festival. Mages Thru The Ages took a whirlwind tour of magic past, present and future and Time Warper which mixed Magic and time-travel. Oliver also regularly performed extracts from Time Warper at the Magic Night at Madame Jojo's.

He recently won the Cheese N Crackers cabaret competition at Battersea Barge in April 2011 and also performed extracts from Oliver Meech: Live Brain Surgery during a four week run in Late Night Magic at Jermyn St Theatre, Piccadilly.

He debuted Oliver Meech: Live Brain Surgery during a two week, 10-performance run at Brighton Fringe.
