Matt Forde brings his first solo show to the Edinburgh Festival Fringe with Dishonorable Member - a light hearted mixture of silly stories and political opinion.

A former political adviser for the Labour Party Matt Forde isn't a typical twenty-something. A passionate, opinionated and excitable young man he loves football, Prime Minister's Questions and pasties. He's even gone to extraordinary lengths to get close to Tony Blair and Brian Clough... and does have the pictures to prove it (pasties not included).

Now Matt wants to share his tales with you. Ever watched Prime Minister's Questions with a four pack of lager? Matt has. And after seeing Dishonorable Member you will probably want to as well. Matt knows it's weird to get excited about politics in the same way he gets excited about football. But he can't do anything about it. It just happens. YOU REDS!

Matt is a writer on 8 Out on 10 Cats and Stand Up For The Week for Channel 4. He's also a regular on the radio circuit hosting his own weekend late-night phone-in show for Station of the Year Sony Award winners (2011), talkSPORT where he tackles the latest news and sports stories. In 2010 Matt was also a regular host on The Jon Richardson Show for BBC 6 Music.
