The 1950s was a good decade to be a superhero. Sadly, for the superheroes at Omega Sanctuary retirement home, the intervening years took their toll. Ostracised from society and going grey, Captain Invincible and his crew of octogenarian caped crusaders are seeing out the end of their days whilst avoiding the stone cold glare of matron Schmidt. This is until strong willed carer Devin decides to stage a breakout, with the help of her lovesick sidekick Grant. Filled with music, mirth and follies, Golden Aged is like a musical Great Escape with added cape.
