This brilliant spin on Stepford Wives is an irresistibly twisted tale of ordinary men, women, and their dogs. An absurdly talented comic cast bring you spine-chilling, rib-tickling, curtain-twitching delights. There's something rotten in the cul-de-sac. And you know it! Cul-De-Sac is the first play to emerge from the Comedians Theatre Company new writing project Itch: A Scratch Event. Written by Matthew Osborn, directed by Maggie Inchley and starring Alan Francis, Toby Longworth and Mike Hayley, the Itch team invite you into the dark, tweeting suburban underworld... 'Comedians doing simply exactly what they do best, making people laugh' **** (Fest).

Cul-de-Sac is the first full length play to emerge from the Comedians Theatre Company new writing project, Itch: A Scratch Event. Written by Matthew Osborn, winner of So You Think You're Funny, Chortle Best Newcomer and English Comedian of the Year 2009.

Directed by Maggie Inchley, co-Artistic Director of the Comedians Theatre Company with Phil Nichol, Cul-de-Sac stars a tremendous clutch of brilliant comic actors. Alan Francis is known for his work at The National Theatre of Scotland, The Royal Shakespeare Company and the Royal Court as well as TV appearances including Psychoville and Alistair McGowans Big Impression. Toby Longworth has performed in Dirk Gently, My Blue Wedding and five series of Its Been a Bad Week, all for BBC Radio 4. His voice has featured in Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy, Star Wars the Phantom Menace and the animated Dr Who series The Infinite Quest. Mike Hayley is an actor, comedian and writer. He and Alan Francis wrote the play Jeffrey Dahmer is Unwell, a smash hit at the Edinburgh Festival in 1995, and recently revived at the Kings Head Theatre, Islington. In 2011 Mike has been touring with Journey's End, as well as often performing his own creation, the irksome anthropologist Clovis van Darkhelm.
