Anil Desai is an impressionist, a stand-up, a story teller, a character comedian, an improviser, an actor, left-handed, single, a Capricorn, philosophical, sincere, enthusiastic, an optimist, an outsider and more. In 2009 Anil Desai brought his debut show Stand-Up Chameleon to the Edinburgh festival, earning him rave reviews and a commission by BBC Comedy Extra for a four sketch mini-series entitled How To Impersonate.

This was followed by his second equally successful show Anil Desai: Hey, Impressions Guy! since then he has been headlining comedy shows in London and around the UK. He has performed around the world in South East Asia, India, Slovenia, Germany, Ireland, and also at the Melbourne, Sydney, and New Zealand international comedy festivals, as well as some of the biggest summer festivals in the UK including Latitude, Electric Picnic and Bestival.

The summer will see Anil return to the festival with his third solo show, Anil Desai... is a fully loaded hour which displays more of the man or men - behind the masks. Featuring a mixture of Anil's own characters including Rajesh Bollywood, Candice the fluffer girl and the all new Jayden Campfire, alongside some very famous special guests... expect character comedy, impressions, stories, singing, dancing and more.
