Rowan Dixon and Hilary Palmer established The Uplifters in 2005 as an independent theatrical production company with the ambition of presenting original and popular musicals. Their first production was Gypsy at the
Charles Cryer Theatre. Their Edinburgh Fringe debut in 2008 was the original musical comedy, En Suite Charity.

Hilary Palmer is an experienced musical performer who is currently working with the Root and Branch Theatre

Rowan Dixon is an actor, singer and director whose male lead credits include Tony (Copacabana), Cole Porter (Red Hot & Cole), Sky (Guys & Dolls), Wild Bill (Calamity Jane) Bobby (Company). Directing includes Seussical and Gypsy.

James Beal originally a graphic designer. Recently James has been increasingly in-demand as a musical director and pianist. Musical Directing credits include: Secrets (Jerwood Vanbrugh Theatre); Hotel S.A.L.I.G.I..A.
(Bloomsbury Theatre)' Shakespeare 4 Kidz (UK tour). He works as a resident MD and repertoire coach for KSA
Performing Arts and is also a faculty member at Laine Theatre Arts. He was thrilled to be asked to contribute to
the score for 'The S&M Show, not least because the looming presence of opening night meant that his usual practice of writing half finished songs was not, in this instance, a viable option.

Dimitry Devdariani is an actor, writer and director. Credits include Pandora's Boxes by Denise O'Leary; Walking on Water by Kara May and Eamon McDonnell's new play, The Gift. Dimitry's most recent project was "How Life Begins" by Lynn Ruth Miller. www.dimitrydevdariani.co.uk

Alison Golding is a multi-talented choreographer who has worked with pop diva Kylie Minogue, Tony Award
winning Broadway star Nathan Lane and multi faceted Adrian Lester for 'Loves Labours Lost', and international
singing star Sarah Brightman.
