Following a total sell-out 5-star run at last year's Edinburgh Fringe, the UK's hottest ventriloquist, Paul Zerdin, returns to the festival with a ten night run... In a show that elicited more "spate[s] of uncontrollable laughter" than any other show last year, Zerdin's 2010 performance will include some amazing added surprises!

Arguably Britain's most talented ventriloquist/stand up comedian, Zerdin, who is the first ventriloquist to ever headline the Comedy Store, could soon become one of the UK's hottest exports with a series of Sponge Fest shows lined up at this year's Montreal Just for Laughs festival. Sponge Fest sees three very different characters brought to life - the cheeky pre-adolescent Sam, belligerent OAP Albert and precocious infant Baby. With a 'set closer' that always involves some serious audience participation, who knows what Zerdin will have in store for this year's Edinburgh audiences.

Zerdin's winning combination of charm, impeccable comic timing and continual audience interaction have recently seen him perform a storming set on ITV1's Comedy Rocks, hosted by Jason Manford, and have the audience 'rolling in the aisles' at the 2009 Royal Variety Performance.
