Well, I imagine she's going to be much more a cat burglar than a woman brought back from the dead by cats, or any of that old school stuff; as that would fit in with Nolan's take more.

I have no problem with the character, just is there really room? Got Bane, the other guy from INception, Catwoman. Got all the baggage from the last film, and gotta wrap up the whole arc. They couldn't nail 2 villains in the last one, and now there is another one in the mix.

Yes, but what you don't realise is that this one is going to be eight hours long.

Like it, although everything now reminds me of Inception.

I hope it won't be tween bollocks.

Bane looks bad-ass.

Spiderman looks a bit Meh, and not as good as Spidey 1 & 2. Do we really need all that bloody backstory again?

But Dark Knight Rises looks quite tantalising.

Apparently it's had MUCH less spent on it than the Raimi ones. And it definitely feels too soon to do an origin story again; though I suppose not for the young kiddies.

Whenever I see the title to this thread I instantly hear Chris 'Denholm' Morris shouting 'Standard nerds, Jen' in the first scene of the first series of The IT Crowd.

Not sure where else to post this? But for once in a very long time I am actually intrigued by a new movie. Rise of the Planet of the Apes actually looks quite good. Even though I've never had any interest in the series. Plus it's full of monkeys! (well apes).

Yes, I'm quite looking forward to it. Hoping it'll be big brainless simian fun and a change from the neverending bloody conveyor belt of comic book adaptations. F*** off for a bit, Marvel!

First pic of new Superman in costume:

There's something about Superman which fills me up with an overpowering sense of 'meh'. Much in the way Spiderman does.
