Just come back from the Otway weekend and saw a great comedy one-man-band Andy Twyman.

What the frig happened to Mastermind??

When I was growing up it was all the life and times of Friedrich Nietzsche, the Russian Revolution and painters of the Italian renaissance

Switched it on tonight, punter sits down and "your chosen specialised subject is The Vicar of Dibley"

Whaaaaaaaa??

Mine was to be The writings of Voltaire.
But I failed the entrance exam.

I remember London taxi driver Fred Housego winning it in 1980. He was like the Susan Boyle of the 80s with his Dennis Taylor glasses and Little Britain appearance.

My subject would be Spike Mullins. There's not that much information about him.

Today can just bloody well bugger right off. I started the day this morning by being late for work because I had a dicky tummy and then when boarding a bus my coat got covered in bird poo and it was pure luck I wasn't standing an inch further forward or it would have gone all over my face. I didn't realise it had splattered the jacket and got it all over my hands. Then this afternoon I lost a tenner by taking it out of a cash machine without actually taking the cash :(

Go to bed and wake up tomorrow morning.

Just put up my Christmas tree and a few meager indoor decorations. It still doesn't feel very Christmas-y since it's 77F/25C outside.

And it's November.
Grrrr!

Just put up my Christmas tree.

I hope it wasn't too painful!

Putting it up is not too bad, it's the taking it down where it hurts as the needles are pointing the other way. >_<

I was asked to a Christmas booze up this coming Friday.
That's not a Christmas booze up, it's just a booze up.

I'm going :)

I bought a bottle of Baileys' cream yesterday and decided to put the tree up with a few little drinkies. I didn't drink a lot but gulped it down too fast and had to go to bed and leave the tree in bits all over the floor. Managed to put it up today with a much less dangerous mug of tea.

Went to an exhibition of Roger Dean paintings at Trading Boudaries in Sussex.

Fantastic seeing extra large size versions of familiar album covers.

I was going to attempt a full nelson on the active threads page but I just don't have the energy for such things anymore.
