A PARTY SCENE, SMART-CASUAL, GUESTS CHATTING AWAY. FX: A BUZZ AT THE DOOR. THE HOST GOES TO ANSWER. AS THE DOOR SWINGS OPEN WE SEE A CLOWN IN FULL OUTFIT. THE CLOWN'S FACE DROPS IMMEDIATELY.
CLOWN: Bugger. Nobody said it was fancy dress.
PAN ROUND TO REVEAL BANNER: “UK CLOWN CONVENTION ANNUAL PARTY”.
THROUGH THE OPEN DOOR WE SEE THE CLOWN TRUDGE OFF TOWARDS ONE OF MANY CLOWN CARS PARKED NEATLY ALONG THE STREET.

I like it. You could use any number of uniformed occupations for this. Maybe armed robbers.
Yeah Quite liked this one and could see it sitting quite comfortably in a sketch show as a very quickie.

Very good. I had a similair sketch before based on a police officer looking for a robber at a 'cops and robbers' themed party.
