I did hear somewhere that there is a DVD release of Mr Swindley which is a long forgotten comedy spin-off from Lowe's character in Coronation Street which first bought him to fame. Bit before my time but people still remember the character with great affection after all these.
It's called Pardon The Expression.

Never seen Pardon the Expression.
Watched the Branded episode with Godfrey last night - loved the bit when they receive Godfrey's resignation letter:
Wilson: "Well I don't see what you can do, he's allowed to leave, he's given you two weeks notice."
Mainwaring: "Two weeks notice? This isn't Sainsbury's!"
It's a nice episode. One of my favs is called War Dance from series 4.
