I've got the first series of People Like Us on DVD and I love it. I'm pretty sure there was a second series but as far as I can see there are no plans to release it when I check the online retail places like Amazon, Play et al.
Wondered if anyone had any inside info on future releases or knew why it hadn't been released? Maybe the sales of series one weren't good or something..?
Unless someone knows anything different, I'd guess that sales were just low.
I loved People Like Us. One of the really great unsung comedies.
Unfortunately, I guess future DVD releases will depend on the results of ongoing legal issues involving the star.
I never heard the radio version (I think I'm right in saying it was on the radio before it hit the small screen) but I'd like to.
Funny show. It got repeated on BBC3 or BBC4 in the last year. Another gem involving Chris Langham but will we ever see it again?
I think it may have been on Paramount recently, too.
I've checked-out the audio options for the radio version of People Like Us and I see that it's available on cassette. I hate cassettes and wondered if anyone knows of anywhere I might be able to download it..?
