yeah, it shows how poor it would be without him, it was up to it's usual high standard until he disappeared, then it dipped, and had very little atmosphere, it was tinpot

I didnt see it cos I was watching my brother be beaten by my friend on Guild Wars (yeah I'm a nerd) but my parents said it just wasnt the same

Just looked on the QI.com message board, and it seems Mr. Davies had "a prior engagement with the Champions League Final"!

(They shot the bit with him disappearing the night before.)

Ohhhh. At least there was a reason for it.

I thought they had done it just to be amusing, and it hadn't worked.
