Picked this poor DVD copy up off eBay so long ago now, I've forgotten what I paid for it - I hope it wasn't much as the quality left a lot to be desired.

Musical comedy starring Ben Lyon and his wife Bebe Daniels who were very big in the UK before, during and after the Second World War, especially as they stayed on in the UK rather than go and take shelter in their homeland of the USA.

I vaguely remember my parents listening to the radio show Hi Gang! that this film is based on, but now looking at it, the humour of course is quite tame; but I enjoyed the film as it also had their sparring partner Vic Oliver in it and it was a delight to see Moore Marriott and Graham Moffatt playing the same characters from the Will Hay films.

Only other actor I recognised was Felix Aylmer - that man never seemed to age! I think he was born bald and doddery.
