RIP Sydney Lotterby, he died today aged 93. He was a sitcom legend directing and producing a lot of BBC's top sitcoms like Porridge, Open All Hours. Last of the Summer Wine and more. A true legend lost.

I was very lucky to meet him a few years ago - he was delighted to be recognised! A very nice man. I could have spoken to him for many an hour. And what an astounding legacy.
