Good comedy with quite a few laughs and a host of comedy actors with Brian Rix seen of course at one point sans trousers. Other stars include William Hartnell (in comic mode), Tommy Cooper, Dick Bentley (original Ron in The Glums), Sid James, Terry Scott, Arthur Mullard, Rennee Houston and a brief appearance of Miles Malleson.

Glamour was supplied by Shirley Ann Field (a fave of mine) and (Barbara Windsor clone) Vera Day.

Weak story of a new vicar discovering that the church hall has a flourishing boxing club with all the dodgy characters you can get with an establishment like that. Nevertheless, it's well worth a look even if it's just for the comedy actors in it.
