The Night We Dropped A Clanger (1959)

("Make Mine a Double" the bloody Yank title) of this mildly comic "farce" in which Brian Rix plays the old stock theme of a double, one being a very thick toilet attendant working in the RAF camp latrines and the other superman type RAF pilot ace, with the lavvie bloke having to pretend to be the much feared super hero to put the enemy off his whereabouts; BUT "shock horror probe you could see it coming off a mile" they each get put on the wrong assignment.

A number of all too brief appearances of Liz Fraser, Arthur Brough (Mr. Grainger - AYBS), Hattie Jacques, Patrick Cargill and Irene Handl, along with Cecil Parker as his usual bumbling self, Leslie Phillips as his usual lothario self and William Hartnell as his usual bullish W.O. self.

Not bad, but looks more like a post war B comedy film, so more dated than you would expect.
