Imagine: Jo Brand Page 2

I thought that the documentary offered a rare insight into the life and career of Jo Brand. I've read both of her autobiographies and I must admit, preferred the second one, but she always came across well. I agree with the previous posters who state that she really forged a path for women comedians in the UK. Jenny Eclair is a contemporary of hers and is a Perrier winner, but I've never really taken to her as much.

My favourite Jo Brand joke is the one about the difference between supermodels and 'normal' models: "a supermodel is very much like a super tampon - more expensive and considerably thicker."
