I'm coming clean. Page 7

A European has just drawn level with an Englishman at the Masters
And I'm hoping the European wins, which makes me anti Brexit

Sorry I've just heard that both players are European, because England is part of that continent
So I don't know who to support now

Which one is the hottest?

I have checked. Neither of them are hot.
I'm afraid there are no other ways to choose.

Definitely the foreigner. I'm so anti-Brexit that every time there's a threat the EU folk will crucify us in the negotions, I think 'Good luck to them.'

"Gotten" is a lovely word, though not used much anymore. Many will think it is not a word at all until you mention that it is also the second part of "begotten" , which most people do know from religious songs etc.

You've forgotten the most obvious example.

Wow, it took me way too long to get that. My brain is not working properly.

And thank you herc for your tireless efforts to correct small grammatical errors. ;P

"A beshitten ballbag" is a nice Rabelaisian insult.

Excellent. Did you make it up?

Thank you Beaky. I had never heard that word before and I love new words.

I refer to

Rabelaisian
?rab??le?z??n/
adjective
displaying earthy humour; bawdy.

Lovely

I didn't make it up. Someone told me it was from a translation of Rabelais.

I can't see the topic of this thread without chuckling to myself.

I hadn't forgotten "forgotten"; I couldn't quite work out how it related to "gotten".
