Yes I have seen both series of The Other One and, although it is not a classic, I did enjoy elements of the programme. Michael Gambon was not the best person to be a foil to Richard Briers but I did warm to him .. eventually.

Well the problem I have with this forum, Aaron, and I why I stay away ... is that you seem to stamp your opinion on almost every thread. I have never known an "administrator" have such control over the output of a forum and I find it uncomfortable. I enjoyed talking to people in here in the past but, inevitably, you would interject and force me to listen to you. I'm sorry if this sounds harsh but there ya go. That was a short bank holdiay .. damn the English weather! grrr

I'll put forward an opinion or observation if I have one, just as I hope everyone else would do. That's what a message board is for, surely? But no one has to listen to another member, or interact with them - or even acknowledge them. Except for when a member of staff is acting in an 'official capacity', as it were!

I'm not totally sure what you're referring to, perhaps I don't have the best manner in expressing my opinion, but I don't go around editing peoples' posts to 'correct' their thoughts of a programme into line with my own, so I don't quite understand what you mean by my having "such control"?

Perfectly happy to discuss this BTW - but not in this thread, following the off-topic rules. (If it's those you're referring to, it's all Mark's doing, not mine!) I am genuinely interested, and sorry to hear that you feel that way, so do PM me if you have time.

(Unfortunately for the aforementioned reason - that they may act on 'official' business - it wouldn't be possible to ignore staff members, so wouldn't do much good in this situation.)
