Don't remember much about him but it's quite horrific.

General Colin Powell (warrior, Secretary of State, Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff) has died from Covid, despite being fully vaccinated. I always admired the guy, but his recent wokeness was a tad annoying.

Rest in peace, General Powell.

RIP ex-soldier Dennis Hutchings.
Hounded at 80 years old for an incident that happened in 1974 during the Irish troubles

RIP Lionel Blair

Yes, RIP Mr Blair - 92. Dancing must keep you fit. I'll have to take it up.

I often wondered if he cared about regularly being the butt of jokes on ISIHAC

I met him once at the 1984 motor show.
He laughed and joked and chatted away as if we were mates.
RIP Lionel.

Another piece of rhyming slang brown bread.
RIP

It's partly down to those frankly obscene jokes about him that I've always assumed he was gay

Married with kids!!!?

Like this, you mean.................................

By coincidence I was listening to an episode of ISIHAC, and one of those fairly regular "butt of the jokes" came up.

HUMPH:
"I see the next round is Sound Charades, which is, of course, based on the TV series "Give Us a Clue", the master of that being Lionel Blair, and who can forget Lionel's tears of frustration as ne wasn't allowed to use his mouth to finish off the Two Gentlemen of Verona."

Audience and panel collapse into fits of laughter, and Sandi Toksvig was in hysterics and simply couldn't stop laughing.
I have to say, it was hysterical and went on for ages, as it came out of the blue, with Humph's deadpan delivery.

Betty White!

Meatloaf RIP aged 74

Whatever you think about him, the Bat Out of Hell album was one of the biggest sellers ever.

Just read about Meat Loaf too.
The only thing worse is how every tribute riffs on Bat Out Of Hell.
