As an actor with an agent, would you suggest I ask him about where I could send it to be read by a significant figure?

Regarding agents, most of them accept submissions.

I can't find agents accepting sitcom scripts, have you got any advice on finding them?

I sent my pilot out to about 8 production companies I found that don't have a "No unsolicited submissions" warning on the contact page, and got a couple of favourable responses although both thought it was "too political", One person liked my writing enough to invite me to submit anything else I have though, which I take as encouraging. I can't give up hope on it working because it's my only route in :DErrrTeary

There are also BBC Writer's Rooms. The next one is in December.
