British Comedy Guide v2.0 Page 3

The only thing I'm currently missing / can't find on the new site is the preview of new shows (TV / radio) starting in the next weeks and months: https://www.comedy.co.uk/guide/coming_up/

That aside, this is a fab and very sensible facelift, both compact and mobile-friendly. Congratuwelldone!

There's no longer a combined TV and radio page, but you can find them under 'In Development'.

Ah yes, I've seen those before, cheers. I always find the current version with confirmed upcoming dates for debuting / returning shows rather helpful. Will there be something like that on the new website in the near or distant future?

There is a small bug so a couple of further off things aren't currently appearing, but shows with dates can be found On Air: https://www.comedy.co.uk/tv/on_air/

Ah yes, sounds and looks perfect - thanks again!

Mark and I are very pleased today to be launching the first stage of the brand new British Comedy Guide.

We've a brand new logo, fresh design, and loads of new content to share with you.

https://www.comedy.co.uk/

We'll be rolling out fresh new features and upgrades - including the forums! - over the next few weeks, so keep an eye out for changes being made every day. Some of it may take a bit of getting used to, but we're excited to be sharing the future of the BCG and our vision for the site with everyone.

Looks great, Aaron and Mark. Excellent work.

Long time no see, Graham. Thanks - much more to come!

I know I have no other choice but get used to new look, but older site was so user friendly.

Are you planning to give the forum the same header as the new site?

It's looking good, very sharp, clean etc. But I do think it would be good to have a forums / community tab in a prominent place. The forum is a huge selling point and it's what makes this place unique (apart from the I Know What You Did On Your Holidays Down Margate While Counting To Twentyfive thread) and if it's easy to see and sign up to a forum more likely people will keep coming back.

Well done Aaron and Mark.

I think it looks great, well done.

I'll admit, I thought the old one was fine, too, though. Rolling eyes

I guess there's always got to be one, and I'm not known for liking new things, but ...

Hate it. Sorry.

The great thing about the old one, especially in the cast and crew and details section, was a lot of information and a lot of links on the page at once, esp. writers, prodcos, episode dates and details - all right there and in depth on one page without too much scrolling.

The new one feels like the opposite of that. A LOT of scrolling, white space and ads. The old version was utilitarian, yes, but it felt like a resource rather than yet another glossy TV guide.

Just sayin'.
