One of mine for the Sketch Factor reject bin. Have to agree with some of the other posters here: I felt that the pilot was pretty poor. That's not sour grapes - I honestly only laughed once, and that was the BBC cameraman hostage asking to rearrange his own execution shot. Here's one of mine anyhow. Love to know what you think. It's only a quick one.

PLATFORM QUICKIE

FX PLATFORM TANNOY BONG

PLATFORM ANNO (D) The next train to arrive at platform 5 is the delayed 7-44
to London Bridge. I’m sorry to announce that this connection is running approximately 6 minutes late due to a faulty battery in the platform clock.

Needless to say that an emergency replacement has been procured and the 7-44 is now due to arrive 3 minutes early - for which we also apologise.

Timetables and Einstein’s Theory of Relativity are currently on sale in the station bookshop.

(D) means the voice will be distorted to sound like a platform announcement.

Thought this was very good and would have fitted the brief well

it was alright but seemed a bit too much the platform quickes were only like 2 lines long with barely a pause, this one seemed a bit to complicated and much for me anyway fair play though i havent got the guts to post mine

The wording didn't "work" for me, but I love the joke. Very good. :)
