No all-male panel BBC shows Page 2

Yes, but if they need their hands forced to do the decent thing, then so be it I suppose. Any one of us could easily find funny women to put in a panel show each week, the fact many don't, or allow a single token woman to sit in who often isn't even a comic, is just weird at this point.

About bloody time, I say. Perhaps Mock The Week will start to be funny, for once.

So on these sorts of shows, either they will now have token females, or they're going to have to quickly find women who can and want to act like arseholes the men. Perhaps the fact that there's now a need for such women in order for the shows to survive, will fuel a rise in this sort of 'feisty bird'?

Of course, they could just have a woman as the host, and effectively maintain the all-male guest line-up; which would defeat the whole point of the initiative.

Those female panel shows in full -

Frock of the Week
Would I Lie To Myself?
Have I Got Gossip For You.
Changing Room 101
Cats (no 8 Out of 10 - counting is hard and statistics are boring)
A Question of Shopping
Does My Quiz Look Big and Fat in this Year?
Q10
Nevermind the Buzzc**ts

Are you in the Taliban, RC?

I'm Sorry I Haven't Enough Shoes

The last laugh, because I'm going to blank you.
8 out of 10 cats are better than men, and so are the other 2.
Never mind the boyfriend I've got a buzzing cock

I'm sorry I haven't a Clue About Reversing.

Yeah, I like the "periodd one out"-round the most.

The new shoes quiz

Rolling eyes

Maybe it's just me, but what is all this shite about_?

This is the high level of wit they expect from panel show members. No woman could ever hope to rise to those levels.

The BBC has as part of it's ongoing and unrelenting war on comedy, forbidden any panel shows with all male panels.

I guess QI, HIGNFY et al will have to plan for what they will do in the weeks no funny women are available.

I suspect it will show footage of kittens.

Damn straight, so would you mind writing to the DG and then putting the kettle on.
